Police probe fatal car crash
In a news release, authorities in West Hollywood said th룰렛e cause of the crash is under investigation.
Hollywood PD said the investigation into this tragic crash has been turned over to Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
According to a witness description, an SUV carrying the young woman who was driving, struck a utility pole late Wednesday afternoon.
Hollywood police said the SUV was eastbound on the northbound 101 Freeway northbound when the driver suddenly 골목stopped.
The victim’s husband, who is identified only by his first name, said his wife was not wearing seat belt.
Police said the woman was taken to a hospital with non life threatening injuries. She was not cooperating with officers.
One of the officers involved in the crash spoke to FOX 4. She said the suspect left the scene and drove away.
That officer, with LAPD’s K-9 unit, assisted in the search and the crash in East LA. A number of K-9 units were utilized in the investigation.
The suspect vehicle is located in a parking lot, next to the Hollywood Casino and is covered by a gray carpet.
